Description
Washi paper Salmon 15m by 58.5cm
Washi is made by sprinkling water on the washi surface during production process. That is how the holes appear!
A traditional technique from the island of Shikoku in the south of Japan, Where this handmade paper is made roll by roll.
If you draw a line with water, wait for some seconds, then tear the washi gently apart.
This technique preserves the long fibers which agree typically for the washi.
